<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided recording and reproduction type optical recording medium which is formed by a non-2P (Photopolymer) method and has three write-once recording layers consisting essentially of an organic dye. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium wherein a first information substrate formed by forming a first write-once recording layer consisting essentially of the organic dye, a first reflection layer and a first protective layer successively on a first substrate having an optical guide groove and a second information substrate formed by forming a third write-once recording layer consisting essentially of the organic dye, a second reflection layer, a second write-once recording layer consisting essentially of the organic dye and an inorganic protective layer successively on a second substrate having an optical guide groove are stuck to each other via an organic transparent intermediate layer (an adhesive layer) so that the substrates are positioned on the outer sides, recording and reproduction of the first and the second recording layers are performed by irradiation with a laser beam from the first substrate direction and recording and reproduction of the third recording layer are performed by irradiation with a laser beam from the second substrate direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
