<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute processing of a high real-time property at all the time regardless of magnification. <P>SOLUTION: When an image is magnified in a sub scanning direction and read by a scanner 101, processing is performed as follows. In the case of enlargement magnification, magnification normalization processing is performed by a magnification normalizing means 123 to provide image data resulting from reducing image data to an image approximately corresponding to no magnification. It is then detected by a detection means 124 whether or not a dot pattern registered in advance is contained in the image of image data after reduction as predetermined information meaning the output inhibition of the image data. When reduction is selected, on the other hand, it is detected by the detection means while changing the dot pattern in accordance with a reduction magnification power whether or not the dot pattern registered in advance is contained in the image of the image data as the predetermined information meaning the output inhibition of the image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
