<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radio device that can be simply, reliably accommodated and be expanded in multiple steps. <P>SOLUTION: The portable radio device 10 can be accommodated into an antenna accommodation section 14 when not in use, and has first and second antennas 21, 22 that are expandable in a plurality of steps according to the radio wave intensity when in use. A coil spring 23 is fitted to the first antenna 21, the slide operation of an operation button 15 shifts an accommodation state to the expansion state of a first step, and further the engagement of an elastic engagement piece 22c is canceled from a hole 21c as the expansion state of a second step in the expansion state of the second and first steps, where a coil spring 24 is fitted which has the elastic engagement piece 22c engaged with the hole 21c formed near the base part of the first antenna 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
