POLYESTER FIBER AND INDUSTRIAL WOVEN FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester fiber equipped with excellent hydrolytic resistance and its use. SOLUTION: The polyester fiber comprises 0.005-1.5 wt.% of an unreacted monocarbodiimide compound and/or 0.1-2.0 wt.% of a polycarbodiimide and 40-200 ppm sulfur atom and 0.05-2.5 wt.% of titanium dioxide particle having 0.1-1.0μm average particle diameter as components except a polyester. The polyester fiber is used as a constituent fiber for an industrial woven fabric and a dryer canvas for papermaking. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
