A method for monitoring the voltage supply of an arrangement (3) of networked control appliances (1) in which at least one of the control appliances monitors the presence of a voltage of a given lower voltage threshold by comparing the actual voltage applied with a given lower voltage threshold (Vu). A lower voltage error suspicion flag (Fv) is set automatically when the actual voltage (U) fails to attain the lower voltage threshold for longer than a given filter-time (a) and an error storage entry automatically results, when the error suspicion flag (Fv) is set for longer than a given error time (b) at the respective control device (1).
