摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform failure diagnosis accurately even at a transition time when turbine rotation speed changes in relation to a failure diagnosis device for an internal combustion engine provided with a turbocharger. <P>SOLUTION: Compressor passage gas flow rate (m dot comp) and model operation value of intake manifold pressure Pin are calculated by performing model operation including operation of angular velocityωs of a turbine shaft 32 in a loop. M dot comp is actually measured by a air flow meter 42 arranged on downstream of a compressor 28. Pin is actually measured by a suction pressure sensor 44 arranged in a downstream of a throttle valve 34.
