PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an apparel product furnished with functionality of being durable and free from a loss of shape, as if a woven fabric has, together with stretchiness and feelings, as if a knitted fabric has. SOLUTION: This method for producing the apparel product comprises using a gray fabric which is woven by subjecting a natural fiber to leno weaving, cutting the gray fabric into each of parts with a prescribed multiplying factor, together sewing the parts to form them into a desired external shape, and shrinking the sewn material by subjecting the material to dyeing processing, so as to have a prescribed size.
