<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design change following system for specifying a proper alternative part by following up the design change of the part. <P>SOLUTION: This system is constituted of a network 5, a part server 2 for communicating information through the network 5, wherein the part server 2 is provided with a design management database which stores the design information of the part and a part database which stores a plurality of sales units, and a plurality of sales units include a plurality of specific sales units, and each of the plurality of sales units is configured so that the part can be provided to the market, and a part lifetime management server 1 connected to the network 5, and provided with a sales management database which stores specific sales units and integral sales units corresponding to those respective specific sales units. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
