<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bar code recognition device and a magnetic bar recognition method capable of performing recognition processing of a check paper printed with a predetermined wrongly printed magnetic bar by properly cutting a partial magnetic waveform therefrom, and a program therefor. <P>SOLUTION: In the magnetic bar code recognition device 200, each CMC7 characters 112 is recognized from the check paper 101 printed with a recognition character string 106 composed of a plurality of CMC7 characters 112 and a predetermined wrongly printed magnetic bar 125. This device comprises a magnetic waveform cutting means 234 for canceling a noise peak 145, when the noise peak 145 corresponding to the wrongly printed magnetic bar 125 is recognized to be included in a partial magnetic waveform 143 cut in character bases, and performing the cutting of partial magnetic waveform again. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
