PORTABLE WIRELESS GUIDANCE DEVICE AND GUIDANCE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the most of merits of two forms of wireless LAN and small power wireless communication as much as possible for a portable wireless guidance device capable of leading a traveler to a destination in a facility even though the facility is large scale.

SOLUTION: The potable wireless guidance device for providing the guiding service to the carrier of this device by wireless communication with the outside comprises the small power wireless part 10 for communicating with the small power wireless communication; the wireless LAN part 20 for communicating with the wireless LAN communication; and the control part 80 for controlling the small power communication part and the wireless LAN communication part. The control part comprises the wireless data capacity discrimination means 82 for discriminating which of the small power wireless communication and wireless LAN communication is to be adopted by the data capacity threshold Dth as a comparison fiducial regarding the wireless transmission or wireless receiving data comparing; and the wireless communication switching means 81 for switching the small power wireless communication part and the wireless LAN part.
