<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem such that a cavity housing a card forms an overall dimensions of a device larger than the dimensions of the length of the card. <P>SOLUTION: A device (10) for connecting a card (C) comprises a casing (12, 14) with an upper cover (14) having a horizontal upper plate (46) and a spring (16) for ejecting the card (C). The spring has a main protruded strand (162) whose active end part (164) cooperates with the front transverse edge (60) of the card (C).
