<p>A container made of an appropriate material like steel or plastic and of a suitable size is fitted with the appropriate amount of explosives and a detonator. A fire extinguishing material is added. The container or several of them can be transported in an airplane, stored at particularly vulnerable building like an airport, and around a house in an area known for frequently occurring forest fires. When the detonator is activated a vacuum is created and the contents dispersed in a fine, but effective mist.</p> |
