<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a terminal connected to an IP network to a telephone set connected to a public telephone line network. <P>SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of an invite request addressed to a telephone set connected to the public telephone line network, a server transfers the invite request to a gateway terminal, and when the gateway terminal receives the invite request, the gateway terminal makes a call to the telephone set. The server inserts the telephone number of the telephone set to a region other than a region describing the URI of the gateway terminal in a start line of the invite request, or regions other than the start line of the invite request, or a message other than the invite request.
