INORGANIC BASE MATERIAL FOR INKJET RECORDING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic base material for inkjet recording which is free from the occurrence of blotting after inkjet recording and firing and has excellent handleability and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The inorganic base material free from the occurrence of blotting after inkjet recording and firing and having excellent handleability is obtained by forming an ink receiving layer comprising glass frit and a water-soluble polymer on the inorganic base material and controlling the porosity of the ink receiving layer to 10-40%.
