The proposed method for testing the operation of a pyrotechnical mechanism consists in applying, to the final control element of the mechanism, a force, which is equal to the force that is produced by the mechanism load in operating conditions, causing the operation of the mechanism, and measuring the said force when the mechanism operates by using a force transducer. According to the invention, a device for the realization of the method is also proposed.
