A container (10) such as a bin has an interior (16) in which a first material such as litter is receivable, and includes a compartment (32) in which a second material is receivable. The compartment (32) is substantially enclosed so that in use the second material is kept separate from the first material. The compartment (32) is formed integrally with the container (10), and can be filled with ballast material such as water, sand, concrete or a settable gel through an aperture (42) then closed by a plug (44). The container may formed by rotational moulding of plastics material such as polyethylene. |
