This invention relates to engineering of thermal treatment in microwave fields bulk dielectric materials and can be used in pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries. The method for drying bulk dielectric materials includes pumping-out of the volume with material, with pumping out the volume to limiting vacuum, with dry air supply with simultaneous pump-out, microwave heating of material. In the process of drying one controls the total pressure in the chamber, with provision at the same time of continuous pumping-out. The appliance for drying bulk dielectric materials has drying chamber as vacuum-tighte multi-mode resonator, pallets made of radio-transparent material, loading hatch, system for dry air supply and its pump-out, split flange with cover. This invention provides increase of productivity of technological process of drying, with decrease of power consumption and improvement of quality of dry material due to elimination of hydrolysis formations in the process of drying. |
