PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation structure of a building capable of preventing corrosion due to moisture and insect damage by termite, having excellent fire resistance and high processing precision and being light in weight to provide excellent construction property, having high strength, and being suitable for tight fastening by a nail or bolt. SOLUTION: A synthetic resin material or a mixture of a synthetic resin material and a noncombustible material is sealed in a hollow barrel part of a non-rust and noncorrosive metallic frame member having substantially rectangular cross section and the hollow barrel part to constitute this foundation structure of the building. A column part is provided in the hollow cavity part of the frame member. A locking channel part for attaching connection hardware to a side face of the frame member is provided.
