The device for the compressing of waste by means of evacuating the cavity of a flexible collecting bin for the waste has a suction lance (10) for inserting into the bin by means of which the cavity of the bin is evacuated. A filtering means (20,21) is provided to hold back particles, fluids and/or other impurities. The suction lance has an elongated insertion nozzle (12) with a stepped mouth (16). The mouth is provided with radial slots (17). An independent claim is included for a waste collecting bin with an evacuating connection.
