PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve system performance by shortening DMA processing time, whether or not cast-out occurs. SOLUTION: A data transfer controller includes a CPU 1 having a delay cache memory 10, a main memory 3, and a DMA means 5. A snoop control unit 7 comprises a CPU data buffer 8, a memory data buffer 9, and a read data transfer means 11 so as to transfer data directly from the CPU 1 to the DMA means 5.
