PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a dead space on the bottom section of a cargo compartment as much as possible, and at the same time, to prevent additional equipment such as a water-tight shutter from being used as much as possible, and also, to safely perform the work under a comparatively good environment at the time of a failure of a discharging conveyor or the like. SOLUTION: A plurality of cargo compartments 22 are provided in the bow-stern direction by dividing a hull 21 by a bulkhead 23. Weight-shape cargo tanks 26 are arranged in two rows in the cargo compartment 22 in the bow-stern direction. Conveyors 28 for loading which are connected with the crown section of the cargo tank 26 are provided in two rows in the bow-stern direction. The discharging conveyor 40 is provided in the bow-stern direction in a valley of the cargo tanks 26 which are arranged in two rows in the bow-stern direction. In addition, for each cargo tank 26, a transfer conveyor 34 for lifting pellet-like gas-hydrate a to the discharging conveyor 40 is provided from the bottom section of each cargo tank 26.
