PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that since most of saws used by carpenters or farmers cultivating fruit trees has a straight handle and a hand often slips on the handle, it is difficult to cut a timber or to lop off the branches of apple or peach trees for pruning in farmer's fruit cultivation. SOLUTION: A U-shaped saw handle assisting member made of a plastic or the like is folded to pinch the saw handle and fixed to the side thereof for preventing the hand from slipping along the handle.
