PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera with a built-in printer which automatically processes an optimum kind of printing paper in accordance with a photographing mode, can print an image processed immediately on the spot, and can improve a quality of the image. SOLUTION: The camera with built-in printer comprises a photographing means converting an optical image of a body to be photographed into electronic image signals, a printer device printing out the electronic image signals photographed by the photographing means on a recording paper, a photographing mode setting means for setting at least one photographing mode, and a detecting means for detecting the photographing mode of the body to be photographed.
