MANUFACTURING METHOD OF ORGANIC/INORGANIC COMPOSITE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic/inorganic composite thin film having mechanical strength or the like causing no crack on a base material by a heat history process (low temperature process) of 100°C or below even if the base material comprises a heat-resistant base material like a glass base material or a plastic material having a problem in heat resistance. SOLUTION: This organic/inorganic composite is formed on the surface of the base material by bringing the base material into contact with a solution containing organoalkoxysilanes, water and an acid catalyst. In this method, an additive for advancing the equilibrium reaction of the general formula: MF62-+2H2O=MO2+4HF+2F-to the right is further added to the solution. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
