The vehicle has a sliding door (2) guided by two guide rails (8, 9). The rails are placed in opposite traversing direction and over an inclined surface of a vehicle body. A slide bar of each rail is placed below a rear window to stop door movement from closed to open position and vice-versa. Gas springs extending from A-pillar to a guiding device of the rail (9) controls the door speed and balances the door weight. One of the rails originates at the A-pillar and goes through B-pillar in the direction of back wheel. Another rail originates at the back wheel and goes till A-pillar through the B-pillar.
