PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication apparatus capable of continuously notifying call arrival by vibration even if a position where a main body of the mobile communication apparatus is placed, is not displaced by the vibration. SOLUTION: A camera part 13 provided in a mobile telephone set 1 picks up an image and generates an image signal. The image signal generated by the camera part 13 is stored in a storage part 14. An image processing part 16 compares two image signals stored in the storage part 14 and detects a position where the color of predetermined pixels changes, on coordinates corresponding to two images contributed to the generation of the two image signals. When it is judged that the number of positions where the color of the pixels changes, detected by the image processing part 16 is equal to or more than a predetermined threshold, a main control part 26 stops vibrating a vibration generating part 21 and when it is judged that the number of positions where the color of the pixels changes, is less than the predetermined threshold, the main control part continuously vibrates the vibration generating part 21.
