PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a siding directly mountable to a backing material without interposing furring strips. SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the siding 6 comprises a siding holding means 1, an anchor member embedded in the backing material 5, and a connecting means 3 for connecting both of them. The siding holding means 1 comprises a base part 11 and a plurality of locking pieces 12, 13, 14 of approximately L-shape erected in a line at the base part 11 and facing reverse directions to one another.
