PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lift for a vehicle, in which the space between an installation part and a vehicle floor surface can be set large, while setting the height of the installation part low, which is positioned inward. SOLUTION: At an upper position of a support body 2 movable between the upper position and a lower position, a guide and support means A is provided to guide and support the installation part 1 to be slidable between an outward position on the outer side of the vehicle and an inward position on the inner side of the vehicle. With the guide and support means, the installation part 1 is guided and supported to be slidable in such an inclination direction that the height of the installation part 1 is lower at the inward position than at the outward position.
