METHOD FOR FORMATION OF DOMAIN-SPECIFIC GRAMMAR FROM SUBSPECIFIED GRAMMAR

The invention relates to a method for designing semantic grammar i.e. relating to an application domain from generic grammar and a lexical knowledge base of the application domain in question. The generic grammar is a unification grammar with common morphosyntaxical characteristics (such as gender and number for substantives or adjectives used) and the semantic model of the domain describes syntaxico-semantic characteristics proper to the application domain. According to the invention, a specific design model is established for the domain in question; the design model is combined with a generic grammar and a generic lexicon whereupon the specific grammar is deducted therefrom. Said method is carried out, for example, in order to ensure automatic control of a process or of a vehicle.
