PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control power generation of a fuel cell in a condition in which water can not be supplied to an electrolyte membrane at low temperature.
SOLUTION: In the case where water supplied to an air electrode to keep the electrolyte membrane of a fuel cell stack wet can not be supplied by the freezing of a water tank, the air supply amount in starting is decreased than that in water supply in a low load region to suppress the freezing of produced water. In a high load region, cooling efficiency is enhanced by increasing the air supply amount than that in water supply, and dry up of the electrolyte membrane caused by over heat of the fuel cell stack is prevented.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
