<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dietary supplement made from Fomes yucatensis carpophore where freshness of cellular tissue forming Fomes yucatensis carpophore is retained and also absorbing efficiency of active ingredients is remarkably enhanced so as to exert effective potency even through a little amount of intake. <P>SOLUTION: The dietary supplement is obtained through the following steps: a step of freezing the cellular tissue of Fomes yucatensis carpophore via a cooling means; a step of crushing frozen material obtained in the freezing step; a step of subjecting each of the crushed frozen material to an enzymatic treatment with splitting enzyme; a step of deactivating the splitting enzyme from the obtained mixture; a step of separating the splitting enzyme-deactivated mixture into active ingredients and a residue using a centrifugal separator; and a step of solidifying the obtained active ingredients after drying. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
