<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen an angle at which transmission is made possible, while maintaining long-distance transmission power in a remote control transmitter including a plurality of light emitting diodes as a remote control light source. <P>SOLUTION: Light emitting diodes 11a, 11b are juxtaposed on a front end 10 of a remote control transmitter 1 while inclining a radiation direction (c) wherein a radiation strength becomes maximum, within the range of 5° laterally symmetrically toward the outside of the remote control transmitter 1 relative to a vertical bisecting line (b) of a line segment (a) that connects center points d1, d2 of the light emitting diodes 11a, 11b. A light emitting diode used as a remote control light source does not reduce the radiation strength extremely if it is within the range of ≤5° even when the radiation direction is inclined, so that the angle at which transmission is possible, can be widened within the range of ≤10° without reducing so much the radiation strength in the central portion of the radiation range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
