<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-oxidation inside heating type steam reforming system which generates hydrogen-rich reformed gas by self-oxidizing raw fuel gas under existence of oxygen, by reforming the raw fuel gas with vapor, and by supplying it to a fuel cell, and effectively utilizes anode exhaust gas exhausted from the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The system is provided with: a mixing means 123 for obtaining a raw material/steam mixture; and a reforming means 1 for oxidizing source gas contained in the raw material/steam mixture with oxygen-containing gas supplied from outside and producing hydrogen-rich reformed gas by steam reforming the source gas with reaction heat by oxidation. The reforming means 1 is provided with at least a mixed catalyst layer 72a formed by mixing steam reforming catalyst and oxidation catalyst, and a shift catalyst layer 72e. A heat exchanging means 121, in contact with the shift catalyst layer 72e to preheat anode exhaust gas exhausted from the fuel cell 300, is provided, and the anode exhaust gas preheated by the heat exchanging means 121 is supplied as fuel for steam generation and/or as raw gas for producing raw material/steam mixture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
