<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel shaped in polygon, circle or roughly ellipse circle. <P>SOLUTION: In the touch panel, an upper substrate 51 having an upper transparent electrode 53 disposed in a shape being hexagon and symmetric by a single center line and pair of upper conductive electrodes 54, 55 formed by connecting to the symmetrically opposed sides of the electrode 53 onto a lower surface of a flexible upper transparent substrate, and a lower substrate 41 having a lower transparent electrode 43 disposed in the same shape as that of the electrode 53 on an upper surface of a lower transparent substrate, a pair of lower conductive electrodes 44, 45 disposed by connecting to the opposed sides of the electrode 43, displaced by 90°from the electrodes 54, 55 and a dot spacer 48 formed on an upper surface of the electrode 43 are bonded and fixed by a seal material 57 with a prescribed gap. Positional coordinates of a pressure input point is calculated on the basis of a correlation table indicating relations between a preset insulating resistance value or a voltage value and the coordinates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
