<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure having a channel for treating foreign matters in a fluid capable of easily collecting a treatment object matter without requiring expensive manufacturing equipment, having not only a filtering function for separating particles in a fluid according to particle sizes but also detoxifying a harmful substance in the foreign matters by a chemical reaction or wherein the channel can be prevented from being clogged by crushing a particulate substance in the foreign matters. <P>SOLUTION: The structure 100 has the channel 90 for treating the foreign matters in the fluid. The channel has a microchannel diameter and a channel length larger than the channel diameter. Minute geometrically-shaped parts 91, 92 and 93 are formed in the wall face of the channel, and the foreign matters in the fluid are treated by interaction occurring when the foreign matters 61, 62 and 68 in the fluid flowing in the channel come into contact with the geometrically-shaped parts 91, 92 and 97 formed in the wall face of the channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
