<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film coated metal sheet excellent in can making properties under a condition of a high speed/high processing degree, a manufacturing method of the low cost polyester film coated metal sheet having high production efficiency and a polyester film coated metal can having corrosion resistance and good dent resistance, excellent in content preservability, not causing a whitening phenomenon even if subjected to hot water treatment or warm water treatment and ensuring beautiful can appearance. <P>SOLUTION: This polyester film coated metal sheet is manufactured by cooling a mixed polyester, which is characterized in that a mixing ratio of a polyester based on ethylene terephthalate and a polyester based on butylene terephthalate is 60:40-30:70, intrinsic viscosity (IV) is 0.70 dl/g or above and density is 1.320 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or below, on a cooling roll with a surface roughness (Ra) of 0.2-below 4.0μm to solidify the same, uniaxially stretching the cooled mixed polyester at least longitudinally to form a polyester film, bonding this polyester film at least to one side of a metal sheet, heated to a temperature from the melting point of the polyester based on butylene terephthalate -10°C to the melting point +50°C, under pressure to coat a metal sheet and heating the coated metal sheet to a temperature higher than the melting point of the polyester based on ethylene terephthalate of the polyester film before quenching the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
