PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that allows easily charging for the photography of a specific subject without requiring the costs of permitting photography and installing a contract terminal for charging, etc. SOLUTION: A camera 12 with a communication function uses a current location detecting means 36 to detect the current location of a camera 12, and uses a photographic direction detecting means 38 to detect photographic direction. When photography is carried out using a photographic means 24, the current location and the photographic direction are sent to a server 14 via a public telephone network 16. At the server 14, a subject determination means 44 determines whether or not the subject is to be charged according to the current location of the camera 12 and the photographic direction and on the basis of information in a subject charge information DB 50, and sends the result to the camera 12. At the camera 12 a control means controls recording in a removable recording media 34 or the like according to the result sent from the server 14, and sends the intention of charging to the server 14.
