<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule endoscope reducing an effect due to an error on a transmission passage, when transmitting image data from an organism inside to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: The image data which are taken by an imaging means of a capsule body 3 in the organism and stored in a frame memory 15e are compressed and stored in a buffer 15f, divided into a plurality of divided compressed image data 15g, made into packet data 15h of further smaller data amount, added with an error correction code 15i, and modulated and wirelessly transmitted. The side of a recording device 5 outside the body receives them with an antenna, corrects a bit error and removes the error correction code relative to the modulated image data, and reproduces the compressed image data.
