<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator to eliminate a fear of a passenger with poor eyesight to press an operation button in the inside of a cage, reducing a trouble as there is no need for the passenger to input a destination floor by announcing that a call of the destination floor is registered by a speaker provided in the inside of the passenger cage. <P>SOLUTION: The passenger cage 1 moves between platforms respectively set on a second floor as it is driven by a winding machine 4. When the passenger gets in the inside of the passenger cage 1, a load detection device 10 detects it.
