PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetostrictive solenoid valve of a simplified structure, decreasing the number of parts, and also adjusting the flow rate of a fluid with high accuracy and at high speed. SOLUTION: This magnetostrictive solenoid valve 10 includes: a substantially cylindrical casing 12; an electromagnetic coil 20 disposed to surround the outer periphery of the casing 12; and a valve element 14 disposed in the internal space 12A of the casing 12, and formed of a magnetostrictive member displaced with a change in magnetic field applied from the electromagnetic coil 20 to adjust the flow rate of a fluid flowing through the inside of the internal space 12A.
