CROSS MEMBER INSTALLATION STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately install cross members on the side members of a vehicle. SOLUTION: Bent bulkheads 12 are welded to the inside of a lower arm bracket body 10 extending downward from the side members 2. Openings 16 are formed at the end faces 14 of the bulkheads 12, and brackets 21 projecting downward are fixed to the end parts of the cross member 4. The cross members 4 are positioned relative to the side members 2 in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle by the contact of the end faces 14 and the brackets 21 therewith. Since the claw parts 23 of the brackets 21 are fitted to the openings 16, the cross members 4 can be positioned relative to the side members 2 in the lateral direction of the vehicle.
