PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply change the curvature in a shape steel for bending. SOLUTION: The tip end part of the shape steel 1 supported with a supporting rollers 6 is held with a guide mechanism 10 and a clamp 35 arranged at the tip part of a rotating arm 30 sandwiches the shape steel 1 and is fixed to the shape steel 1. While locally heating the tip end portion of the shape steel 1 with a heating part 40A in a high frequency induction heating device 40, the shape steel 1 is pushed to the axial direction with a conveying claw 5 fixed to an endless chain 3. In this way, the shape steel 1 is bent with the curvature according to the length L of the rotating arm 30. Therein, the rotating arm 30 is constituted by inserting so as to be slide-free to three pieces of arms 30A, 30B, 30C, and since a supporting base 25 as the rotating supported point of the rotating arm 30 is guided so as to be slide-free along a guide rail 20, the length of the rotating arm 30 can be adjusted by extending/shrinking the rotating arm 30.
