<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct an article search system employing RFID. <P>SOLUTION: The article search system causes a reader/writer (120A) to detect an RFID tag (130A) to search for the location of an article given the RFID tag. The system includes an imaging part (102A) for imaging articles each given the RFID tag (130A); a recording part (114A) for recording the images of the articles while embedding in each image an ID code that the RFID tag has; an issuing part (104A) for issuing the RFID tag; and a display part (102A) for displaying the images of the articles.
