PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed processing system having superior manufacturing cost efficiency for each processor. SOLUTION: The distributed processing system comprises a main controller 101; and a plurality of processors (control units A, B, C and D). The main controller comprises an issue means 102a issuing a distributed processing command to the specified processor, where the distributed processing command is used for reading a specified distributed processing program corresponding to specified distributed processing executed by the specified processor out of a plurality of distributed processing programs 203, 204, 205 and 206 retained by each processor. Each processor comprises: a program storage means 110c storing the plurality of distributed processing programs for each processor; and a processing means 110a reading the distributed processing program corresponding to the distributed processing executed by the processor from the plurality of distributed processing programs based on the distributed processing command and executing the distributed processing based on the read distributed processing program.
