PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple sensor for bisphenol A and a method for detecting trace amount of bisphenol A, which are more simple and inexpensive, in order to carry out the detections of the minute amounts of bisphenol A which is known as one kind of endocrine disrupters. SOLUTION: The simple sensor for bisphenol A is made up with one side of a crystal resonator microbalance which is an AT-cut crystal resonator microbalance, preferably a polystyrene thin film is formed preferably, and an acrylate series polymer thin film which is a poly (2-methoxy ethyl acrylate) thin film preferably, is formed thereon.
