<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag, in which a left half air bag and a right half air bag are expanded equally, and an air bag device provided with the air bag. <P>SOLUTION: This air bag 10 comprises the right half air bag 12 that expands on the right side in front of a passenger, and the left half air bag 14 that expands on the left side in front of a passenger. Openings 80 are provided respectively on mutually facing surfaces of the right half air bag 12 and the left half air bag 14 halfway in their expanding directions. Circumferential edge parts of the openings 80 and 80 are sewn to each other.
