PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the electric conductivity and the controllability of the exterior color in a protective film by a clean process wherein harmful substances are not used regarding a surface treatment method for a molded metallic product. SOLUTION: A molded metallic product 1 composed of one of a single metal selected from Mg, Al, and Zn or an alloy composed essentially of any single metal selected from the above is dipped into a solution 2 composed essentially of an aluminum salt, and an oxide film 3 is formed on the surface of the molded metallic product 1.
