PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car body front structure for an automobile, in which impact of collision can be efficiently absorbed in the car body front structure for an automobile. SOLUTION: This car body front structure for an automobile is provided with a bumper armature 1 comprising a straight part 2 extended straight in the car width direction, and bent parts 3 bent backward in the car width direction from both ends of the straight part 2, bumper stays 5 and 5 connected to both end back surfaces of the straight part 2, and an inner bumper 6 extended in the car width direction at a front surface of the bumper armature 1. The straight part 2 is extended outward of the bumper stays 5 and 5, and an impact absorbing part is provided at least in a space in front of the bumper stays 5 and 5 between the bumper armature 1 and the inner bumper 6.
