SEAT SUPPORTING STRUCTURE FOR RACING WHEELCHAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a racing wheelchair capable of adjusting the height of a seat fitted to the preference of an athlete. SOLUTION: It is shown here that the left hand 45 is inserted from a clearance between a cage 14 and the seat 15 and turning a dial knob 35 on the side of the front left corner 46 of the seat. Similarly, height adjusting bolts 36 suspended from four corners of the seat can be adjusted during the traveling. This constitution allows the athlete to adjust the height and the attitude of the seat by his/her preference so as to lighten the burden applied on the athlete and brings about the expectation of breaking a record.
