PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking instrument in which a heating method such as direct heating, oven heating and high temperature dry steam heating can be selected by the intention and preference of a user and the appropriate flame corresponding to it is automatically controlled. SOLUTION: An inner pot 2 is freely detachably housed in a main body 1, the upper part of the inner pot 2 and the main body 1 is covered with a lid 3, and a bottom induction heating means 6 for inductively heating the bottom part of the inner pot 2, a side face induction heating means 7 for inductively heating the side face part of the inner pot 2 and a control part 13 for controlling the heating of the bottom induction heating means 6 and the side face induction heating means 7 are provided inside the main body 1. An inner container 8 can be freely detachably inserted in the inner pot 2, and when it is inserted, the inner container 8 and the inner pot 2 are held so as to provide a space at the bottom part and side face part. The opening part 9 of the space is provided on the upper part. A selection means 14 for heating control is provided in the control part 13 so as to execute appropriate heating control when the user selects the presence/absence of the inner container 8 corresponding to cooking.
